The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service position established for intervention experiences a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all sassa status customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
